Awana is a premier Bible based program that helps change kids' lives for the positive. Awana is one of the leading ministries in the church to help children and youth understand the Gospel and to train them up to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ.

Awana blends Bible teaching, Scripture memorization, and tons of fun together. The Awana' program, at Westland Heights Baptist Church, impacts children ages 2 to 18. The program has a total impact on the student that involves the family and community. In doing this the program helps instruct and train up the child in the ways he/she should go.
