This is what separates Westland Heights Baptist Church from other churches. . . service. The biblical definition of a deacon is a servant, and specifically a servant to a group or family. At Westland Heights Baptist Church we take this servant-hood very seriously. Each joining member is assigned a deacon family, and it is the responsibility of that deacon family to minister and care for their families.

Although we only ordain the husband we recognize that it takes a joint effort of both the wife and husband to make the Deacon Family Ministry as successful as it can be.
