What an opening statement! But if you get to know Westland Height Baptist Church you will see that this is more than just words on paper, it is the way we feel. In all the years of serving in the ministry, I have never found a more loving, caring, and compassionate serving church than Westland Heights. I wish to invite you to come and experience the difference that Westland Heights can make in your life.

Let me tell you, if I had a dream of what a church should be like, I would say it would be a place of new beginnings. A place where hurting, depressed, frustrated, confuse, hopeless, and just altogether messed up people can come and find love, compassion, and caring. It would be a church where the Good News of Jesus Christ can be given openly and freely. A place where people can come and worship the Creator of the universe. I would want this church to grow and develop people in spiritual maturity through Bible studies, small groups, seminars, retreats, and through other members. I believe the church should also equip believers to make significant impacts in their community and beyond. They should desire to send out missionaries, Bible study teachers, and workers of the faith into the world. I don't believe the church should be huge where people can become lost and unwanted. I believe the church should be of a size where people are remembered, cared after, and looked forward to being seen.

If all that is possible in a church, I believe that church would be called Westland Heights Baptist Church.
